How do I book a Shepherd's Hut?
Can my dog stay with me in the Shepherd Hut?
Yes, you can have up to 2 dogs staying and there is a charge of £10/dog/night.
There will be a dog box in the hut containing a towel, bowl, poo-bags and treats.
If you want to eat at The Butchers Arms, we are very dog-friendly. Please mention that you have a dog when booking a table.
What facilities are provided?
King size bed, high quality bedding, kitchen with hob and microwave, fridge, dining table and seating, shower room, log burning stove, electric heating, free WiFi Internet, USB sockets, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, wardrobe,
carbon monoxide detector, first aid kit, emergency card / instructions, fire extinguisher, toaster, kitchenware, cooking appliances/crockery/cutlery/glasses, kettle, cleaning products, rubbish bin, firewood, board games, books, walking maps, outdoor patio with seating and umbrella.
Is there parking?
Yes, there is ample parking.
What is check-in and check-out times for the Shepherd Huts?
Check-in time is 3pm and check-out is 10am.
Will we have our own entrance?
Yes, each Shepherd hut has it’s own private entrance and patio with Outdoor furniture,
Note: it is accessed via a staircase,
Is there anywhere to store bikes?
Yes, we have a secure bike store with charge point for electric bikes
Do you have EV chargers?
Yes, we have two 7kwh electric vehicle charge points available for use by all our customers. Payment is via the Monta App.
